Dr. Lonna is a full-time academician in the Department of Art of Universidad Iberoamericana, Mexico City. Researcher of culture and graphic narratives. Expert in graphic and editorial design. Curator of exhibitions such as “Metanarratives. Art, design, and technology” at the Franz Mayer Museum, Andrea Pozzo Gallery, S.J., and Radio Educación (Education Radio), as well as “Layout Mexico. Unconformity Narratives” at the Center for Exploration and Critical Thinking. National and international speaker.
Author of the book El libro álbum. Lecturas desde el diseño (The album book. Readings from design) and coordinator (et al.) of the book Imprevisto Narrativas Digitales (Unforseen Digital Narratives). Member of the Consejo Consultivo de la Revista Economía Creativa (Advisory Council of the Creative Economy Magazine) from the Centro de Diseño, Cine y Televisión (Center for Design, Film and Television). Collaborator in Código Magazine (Arte-Arquitectura-Diseño) and in the master’s degree of Museum Education in University of Glasgow, Scotland.
Dr. Lonna usually participates in national television or local programs, radio and newspapers as a commentator on issues of design, culture, graphics, museums, the future, and technology.
